HONOR THEIR SACRIFICES recognizes that it will take the combined effort of all individuals and
orgainzations within the fire service to accomplish a reduction in the number of injuries and deaths
that occur in the line of duty.  

Your role must be based on your individual abilities, experience, talents and time you are able to
commit.  We are looking for individuals who are passionate about firefighter safety and survival issues,
who lead by example, and who want to make a difference.

Certain positions within our organization have been identified as being crucial to meeting our
objectives and therefore need to be filled...

Regional Coordinators
IN THE SHORT TERM, Regional Coordinators are responsible for gathering LODD information on incidents that
have occurred in their region, gathering educational resources, promoting the website , fundraising efforts
(through apparel sales, etc), seeking state coordinators to serve under them and begin to fulfill their
responsibilities, suggesting improvements of the website, insight on how to accomplish our mission and ways
to improve the organization.
IN THE LONG TERM, Regional Coordinators will continue to provide insight to the board of directors and their roles
will transition into facilitation and coordination of the efforts of state coordinators.

State Coordinators
IN THE SHORT AND LONG TERM, State Coordinators are responsible for gathering LODD information on
incidents that have occurred in their region, gathering educational resources, promoting the website,
fundraising efforts (through apparel sales, etc), suggesting improvements of the website and insight on how
to accomplish our mission.
